Would you like to learn a simple self-care practice that can help you feel better? Reiki is a subtle, meditative practice that uses light touch on the body to promote relaxation and balance. In this 6-hour workshop you will learn how to use your own light touch in a sequence of hand placements on your body to help you ease into a more relaxed and calm state. When practiced every day, Reiki self-care has many benefits. You may feel less anxious and stressed, more focused and resilient, more calm and peaceful. You may also find yourself sleeping better and experiencing a sense of overall well-being. A short self-practice is easy to use as needed to help you reset during the day. The workshop is primarily experiential with many opportunities to practice self-Reiki both during the class and at home. We will also discuss the health benefits of Reiki self-practice, the origins of Reiki, and the principles that support the practice.
