Everyday Mindfulness & Stress Management for Teens
Everyday Mindfulness and Stress Management for Teens, designed for ages 14 to 18, is intended to strengthen emotional regulation and attention, expand students' repertoire of stress management skills, and help them integrate mindfulness into daily life. Each session includes age-appropriate discussion, activities, and opportunities to practice mindfulness skills in a group setting. Over the course of the series, teens will engage in deep relaxation, walking meditation, eating meditation, and mindful movement. This class offers teens an opportunity to practice mindfulness in a supportive environment where everyone is accepted and welcome.
