Intro to Yoga
This series is designed for students who are brand new to yoga or would like a refresher on the basics of yoga. We will cover safe alignment in foundational yoga asanas (poses), mindful transitions, breath awareness, and relaxation techniques. Over the course of the series, you will build strength, increase flexibility, expand body and breath awareness, and create a practice of calming the mind. This series will also provide students with the skills and confidence to transition easily into a Yoga Level 1 class. Drop-in and make-up students are welcome.
