Stretch, Strengthen, and Align
Do your neck and shoulders suffer after long hours at a desk each day? Is your low back protesting after years of poor posture? Maybe you're looking for more strength and endurance in your tennis game? No matter your motivation, this series will provide you with techniques to strengthen muscles, correct common imbalances, and release deeply held tension so that you can feel better and perform better in your everyday activities. We'll combine traditional yoga poses with the complementary practices of self-myofascial release, corrective exercises, muscle release, and exploratory movement. Each week we'll target a specific region of the body, systematically strengthening and lengthening muscles, building postural awareness, and helping you find your body's optimal alignment.
