Michelle Brooks

Michelle has been involved with teaching movement since the mid 1990s when she was certified as a step aerobics and weight training teacher. She was an active instructor until the early 2000s when she turned to teaching chemistry full time. Although she always incorporated some type of mind-body connection in her movement-based courses, she didn't really discover yoga until about 10 years ago. When faced with challenges as a larger bodied yogi, Michelle began to attend classes at Circle taught by Annie Carlin Olle and decided to offer the same welcoming environment to others. She graduated from RYT200 training at Circle Yoga in 2018. Michelle's classes are infused with a sense of joy and fun and she focuses on mindful movement as a way to connect with and love your body. When she isn't on the mat, she's biking, kayaking, or playing with her basset hounds, Boo Radley and Scout.
