Mick Neustadt

Mick Neustadt is a long-time mindfulness practitioner and instructor. He has spent over a decade sharing mindfulness as a teacher, coach and most recently as a school based therapist with at-risk adolescents. Mick believes that meditation and mindfulness can help us to transform our relationship with ourselves, others and the world. Through the practice of present moment awareness we gain a greater connection to life.

Mick has a passion for working with youth and adults, both one to one and in small groups. Since 2011 he has taught mindfulness to teens through retreats, classes and a bi-monthly group. He has also worked with teachers in schools and led ongoing meditation groups for adults.

In 2013, Mick graduated from the year long Mindful Education Institute teacher training. He is also certified as a .b Mindfulness Teacher with the UK based Mindfulness in Schools Project as well as the Learning to Breathe curriculum for adolescents. In addition, Mick is a Level 1, iRest Yoga Nidra Teacher.

In feeding his dedication to practice he has done multiple long retreats in SE Asia, and the three month Winter Retreat at Plum Village with Thich Nhat Hanh.

Mick is grateful for the profound effect mindfulness has had in his life, and for the opportunity to weave together his core passions of working with youth, mindfulness meditation and mind/body awareness.

Mick holds a Masters in Clinical Social Work and a BA in Elementary Education.
