Ruth Anne Keister

Ruth Anne Keister is an Alexander Technique teacher and a massage therapist. She helps people deeply relax and move with ease with private lessons in the Alexander Technique as well as with classic massage therapy (Swedish and deep tissue). She graduated from the Chesapeake Bay Alexander Studies Teacher Training program in 2010 and the Potomac Massage Training Institute in 1999. With a lifelong interest in health and fitness, she also offers swimming lessons in the Art of Swimming/Shaw Method, applying the principles of Alexander technique to swimming at two pools in DC and MD. Ruth Anne works at Healing Arts of Capitol Hill in DC and at Crossings, A Center for the Healing Traditions in Silver Spring, MD. Ruth Anne is also a student of mindfulness meditation, yoga, and various types of dance, as well as an avid swimmer, cyclist, hiker, skier, and ice skater.
