Susan Blake

Susan has been committed to an alignment-based Hatha and Iyengar yoga practice for over twenty years. Her practice is a compassionate guide to cultivating balance, resiliency, strength and flexibility in all aspects of her life. Susan's practice is founded on a life-long relationship with healthy movement initiated by her studies of dance and kinesiology. Susan is registered with the Yoga Alliance, E-RYT 200. She is certified in Mat Pilates, Yin Yoga and Myofascial Release, Trauma Informed Yoga Teacher Training, ViniYoga Therapy for Structural Conditions and Budding Yogis Teacher Training. Susan maintains a regular meditation practice and is a certified Master Level Reiki practitioner.

What to expect in class:
Susan offers a balanced practice focusing on alignment, increasing inner awareness and developing a deep sense of body connection. Susan uses background music. Her classes include a gentle warm-up, carefully sequenced movement, breath awareness and restorative, resting poses. She looks forward to sharing her experience and enthusiasm for healthy movement with you.
