Inner Relationship Focusing, or Focusing, is a mind-body awareness practice based on self-acceptance and being present in the moment. Throughout most of our lives, our attention is directed outwards and we apply our minds - our critical thinking skills - to every problem. In Focusing, we turn inward and invite all aspects of ourselves to be held in awareness and with compassion. This allows new insights to emerge and encourages healing to happen. Focusing is a simple, everyday tool that can help you break free from old emotional habits and patterns so you can live the life you were always meant to live: calm, confident, and free to choose your next adventure.

The Focusing Level 1 series includes six weekly classes as well as a 50-minute, one-on-one session (via phone, Skype, or Zoom) with the instructor before the first class. Outside of class time, you will meet with a different Focusing partner once per week (via phone, Skype, or Zoom) to do a structured Focusing exercise together. This weekly partner practice is important for building skills and confidence. We will use The Focusing Student's and Companion's Manual, which is included with your registration.

No drop-in or make-up students permitted.
