Pelvic Floor Health for Prenatal and Postnatal Women

This workshop will focus on evidence-based movement techniques that 1) prepare pelvic floor and core musculature for labor and delivery and 2) strengthen, rehabilitate, and heal this part of the body after baby arrives. Participants will learn how to activate specific pelvic floor and core muscles, and they will practice strengthening exercises in conjunction with mindful movement and the diaphragmatic breath. Join us to learn more about how to support a healthy pelvic floor during the childbearing years—and understand why it matters for the decades ahead. Please bring a notebook and pen, and wear comfortable clothes to move in.
