Self-Care for Overwhelmed Parents (For parents of children ages 0-6)

Calling all overwhelmed parents! As modern parents, we are balancing a lot in our lives. When we get overwhelmed, it often feels easiest to sacrifice our own self-care for the good of our families and work. But, as we learn with time, habitually sacrificing self-care is what leads to extra overwhelm, which leads to us being distracted, depleted, and sometimes crabby parents. In this two-hour interactive workshop, we'll explore some simple self-care tools and habits that can help you begin to transform your experience of overwhelm into one of enjoyment. Drawing on practices from yoga, Ayurveda, and habit change science, such as kaizen, we'll discuss practical ways to include more self-care in your own work/life/parenting equation. This workshop is designed for parents of young children, ages 0 to 6.
