Self Defense for Teens
and Their Parents

This workshop focuses on the fundamentals of self defense for teens ages 14 and up. Students will learn simple and effective strategies for preventing confrontation and verbal and physical strategies to protect themselves in threatening situations. The goal is to provide options and information that will empower teens to make choices that keep them safer and to feel more confident in setting boundaries for personal protection. The instructor, Sarah Wolf, has taught self-defense instruction in the DC area for more than 25 years. She is a 2nd degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do and has taught for DC Self Defense Karate Association and DC IMPACT.
The instruction provided in this workshop is designed for teens ages 14 and up and their parents/guardians. Teens are welcome to attend without a parent, but any adult attending must be accompanied by a teen. The registration fee covers one participant.
