What is Yin Yoga?

Are you curious about Yin Yoga? This free workshop is your chance to experience and learn more about this calming and grounding practice. Most poses in a Yin Yoga class are practiced on the floor, targeting the legs, hips, and spine. Poses are held for 3-5 minutes to access the deepest tissues of the body. There is no rushing physically or mentally. You'll be encouraged to pay attention to each moment and work gradually through each pose. Since the technical practice is quite simple, this opens up a chance to practice mindfulness and learn the deeper principles of meditation. This introductory workshop is suitable for those who are new to yoga and to more experienced practitioners. Space is limited, so register today!
