Yoga for Healthy Bones

This workshop is designed for those with osteoporosis or osteopenia as well as for anyone who wants to build healthier and stronger bones. It is both for those who have never taken a Healthy Bones class and for those who have and would like a refresher. You will learn and practice poses that have been shown to build bone mineral density as well as poses that are currently under study. Regular practice of these poses can help prevent fractures and improve balance, posture, core strength and bone strength. The workshop will provide you with sequence suggestions and other tools you need to develop your own home routine. You will also receive some bone healthy dietary tips. All levels are welcome, but students should have some basic yoga experience.
This workshop will be offered on Zoom. It will not be recorded, so be sure to join us for the live event! Registrants will receive the Zoom link and password 24 hours prior to the scheduled workshop start time. If you register within 24 hours of the workshop, we'll send the Zoom link shortly after we receive your registration. Registration closes 10 minutes before the workshop begins. Questions?
