Every Monday: 7-8:30pm
Please join us for Monday Night Mindfulness Practice every Monday evening, where we come together to do sitting meditation, walking meditation, to connect and to talk about how we practice mindfulness in our daily lives. We practice together in the tradition of Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh.
Each session will begin with sitting meditation and walking meditation (7-7:45 pm). Then a facilitator will lead a Dharma Discussion (7:45-8:30 pm), including a reading or a short CD/DVD excerpt from a talk followed by group discussion. After the final bell at 8:30, there will be time for open chatting and connecting with fellow practitioners.
Newcomers are welcome for an introduction on the first Monday of each month starting at 6:15pm.
No previous mindfulness or meditation experience necessary, no registration is required, and there is no fee to attend. Donations are joyfully accepted to support this and other similar programs Sitting meditation can be done on the floor or in a chair.
