Support & FAQs
Do I need to bring a yoga mat?
We have Manduka yoga mats available for use in each studio, though plenty of students choose to bring their own mat. If you borrow a studio mat, please use the mat spray and cleaning cloths provided to wipe down your mat at the end of class, and leave your mat to dry.
Is there parking at the studio?
Circle Yoga does not have a private parking lot. However, there are residential streets with free parking surrounding the studio. Unless you have a Zone 3 permit, parking is limited to two hours on weekdays, but there are no time restrictions on Saturdays and Sundays. The private parking lots near the studio are not for Circle Yoga students.
How do I cancel my reservation for class?
If using our website, follow these steps to cancel your class reservation:
Log into your account → Click Manage Account (top right) → Your Schedule —> Click Cancel next to your booking. Review the cancellation type and select "Yes, cancel my booking."
If using the Walla app, follow these steps to cancel your class reservation:
Select Bookings → Choose the class from Upcoming Bookings → Choose Cancel → Confirm the cancellation → Select Yes, confirm to complete.
Both methods will show if it's an early or late cancellation with any applicable penalties.
I can't get into my livestream class. What do I do?
If your class is about to begin and something goes wrong, call 202-686-1104 with any issues during regular business hours or send a support request to the front desk. We’ll send you the direct Zoom link and get you into class as quickly as possible.
How do I take a livestream class with a partner or friend using one device?
For family members or friends who share one device to take a class together, each participant needs to sign up for that class using their individual student accounts.
When it's time for class to start, you can still join using one device that is logged into one member's account. As long as other family members have signed up separately, your names will appear on the class roster and your teacher will be credited for your participation.
We appreciate your help in ensuring the class roster reflects all the students attending!
How do I access on-demand class recordings?
There are two options for viewing class recordings:
1. When you sign up for livestream access to a class in Walla, you can also enjoy on-demand access to the recording of that specific class for 14 days after, whether you join the class live or not. A link to the class recording arrives by email a few minutes after class ends.
2. Members with 8 or more visits per month have unlimited access to our on-demand video library. The library includes a curated collection of classes with all Circle Yoga teachers. Use the video library as often as you like, from anywhere in the world!
How do I see what classes I've already taken and what classes I have coming up?
To see what classes you've already taken and what classes you have coming up:
From the Walla App
Click on the Bookings icon at the bottom, then you can choose to view Upcoming or Past classes
From the website
After logging in, look for "Hello Your Name!" in the top right. Click on My Account below that. Then select Your Schedule to view upcoming classes and Your History to view previous classes.
Why don't you offer unlimited memberships?
As a cooperative, we’re committed to equitable business practices, sustainability, and supporting our wonderful teachers and staff with fair, competitive wages. Our class prices are thoughtfully set to help cover our expenses while ensuring our teachers feel respected and valued for the work they do. While we understand the appeal of unlimited memberships, offering them at very low per-class rates doesn’t align with the values and goals that guide our community. Thanks for understanding and being part of what makes Circle Yoga special!
Can my teen attend an adult yoga class?
Teens ages 16 and up may attend any adult classes and are welcome to attend without an adult. Teens ages 14 and 15 may attend an adult class with a parent or accompanying adult. Kids 13 and younger are not permitted in adult classes.
How do I use my free birthday class?
Monthly members are invited to celebrate their birthday with a free class at Circle Yoga! On the first day of your birthday month, we’ll email you a promo code for a free drop-in class. Choose from any class on our weekly class schedule, and take your free class anytime during your birthday month.
To receive the promo code, follow these steps to make sure your account is up to date:
1. Log into your account
2. Under your name (top right), click Manage Account
3. Under Your Profile, check to see that:
- Your contact information is current
- Your birthdate is listed under Additional Details
- You’ve opted in to receive Marketing Updates by email, so that we have permission to send your birthday promo code*
Then click the Update button when you’re done.
For households sharing a membership, only one birthday promo code will be issued per year for a family membership. The primary account holder will receive the promo code via email during their birthday month, and they can use the code to book a drop-in for any sharing family member or guest.
Please note that the birthday promo code will not be sent to members if their membership is paused on the first day of their birthday month. If their membership is activated again during their birthday month, they can contact the studio to request the promo code.
* If you are not opted into Marketing Updates under your profile, we do not have permission to send you the promo code for your free birthday class.
Do I need to download the Walla app?
Walla’s user-friendly app makes booking and canceling class reservations a piece of cake while you're on the go! However, if you don't want another app on your phone or iPad, you can skip it. Just access the class schedule from your usual browser and log in to book classes directly from there.
If you'd like to try the Walla App, download it for iOS or Android, and use the same log-in credentials you use when you log into your account through the Circle Yoga website.
How do I stay in the loop on studio and class updates?
Want to stay up on the latest news, events, and offerings at Circle Yoga? Make sure you've opted in to receive our weekly community email — it's the best way to stay connected to the studio.
